Collection: Glover & Smith

Glover & Smith are a family-run British workshop creating lead-free pewter tableware and gifts since 1994. The company was founded by Ed and Judi Glover, both trained in fine art and design, who brought their artistic background into the world of contemporary metalwork.

Working with 95% tin pewter, they use high-quality, lead-free metal and low-energy production methods to keep their environmental impact low. Pewter is durable, non-tarnishing, recyclable and safe for food use, making it a practical and long-lasting choice for everyday living.

Ed Glover is a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Pewterers, and Glover & Smith are members of The Association of British Pewter Craftsmen, with many of their designs carrying recognised British pewter quality marks.

Their work combines thoughtful design with honest materials, creating pieces that feel at home in nature-inspired spaces and around shared tables.
