Collection: Joanne Hedger
Joanne Hedger is a Sussex-born writer and jewellery maker whose work is rooted in a lifelong connection to the natural world. Raised on a dairy farm, where hedgerows and woodland were part of everyday life, she later stepped away from a high-pressure corporate career to retrain as a safari guide in southern Africa. Living off-grid deepened her respect for nature’s rhythms and continues to shape both her writing and her craft.
Her jewellery captures real leaves, seeds and botanical fragments in delicate, wearable forms. Each piece begins with something gathered from the landscape and is carefully preserved, creating pendants and charms that hold a tangible link to woodland, field and forest. The result is jewellery that feels organic, understated and quietly symbolic.
Inspired by slow living, forest bathing and a return to simpler ways of being, Joanne’s work honours small details that might otherwise be overlooked. There is a sense of pause in her pieces, a reminder to notice the leaf at your feet or the changing light through trees.
At Earthful, her jewellery sits naturally within a collection shaped by reverence for land, season and symbolism. These are pieces that carry the presence of nature with them, thoughtfully made and designed to be worn every day.
