Alder Terrarium Pendant

Made in Sussex using materials gathered from local woodland, this pendant reflects the quiet presence of alder growing along riverbanks and damp ground. It brings a small, natural detail into everyday life, shaped by the changing seasons.

Each piece is handmade using real alder, preserved in clear plant-based resin and set within a natural acorn cup from the Northern Red Oak. Materials are responsibly sourced, often collected as they fall or emerge in their own time. The pendant is finished with a waxed cotton cord, hand-threaded with adjustable knots for a simple, comfortable fit.

Alder is often found at the edges of water, steady and rooted. This pendant carries a sense of that balance, offering a small reminder to pause and move with a bit more awareness through the day.
